Transition Services

The transition services department at OSD work with students 14 and older in preparation for life after high school. (Post secondary training, employment, Independent Living, Community Participation). The process starts during the IEP when a child turns 14. Transition is discussed annually at the child’s IEP meeting. In collaboration with the student life department, transition trainings are offered after school as well.
