National organization providing support, encouragement, and information to families raising children who are deaf or hard-of-hearing

Hands & Voices
Hands & Voices is a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families and their children who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as the professionals who serve them.

My Baby’s Hearing
Answers questions for parents about newborn hearing screening and for parents with infants identified with a hearing loss

Deaf Education: A Parents' Guide
Starting point for parents to learn about deafness, the education of the deaf, and Deaf culture

Ohio Department of Health Infant Hearing Program
Information about hearing screening for infants and the Regional Infant Hearing Program, which assists families in connecting to resources and services for infants with hearing loss

Alice Cogswell Center at OSD
Child development center that serves deaf, hard of hearing and hearing children using American Sign Language at the Ohio School for the Deaf. ACC includes a Parent Resource Room with materials available for loan by all parents of deaf and hard-of-hearing children.

Library at OSD
The Ohio School for the Deaf Library serves as a center on deafness with materials about deafness, deaf education, sign language, and deaf culture. Materials are available on loan in person or by mail.

Described & Captioned Media Program (DCMP)
Provides captioned educational and entertainment videos, DVDs and CD-Roms at no cost to Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, teachers and parents

Beginnings
BEGINNINGS provides emotional support and access to information for families with deaf or hard of hearing children, age birth through 21. BEGINNINGS provides an impartial approach to meeting the diverse needs of these families and the professionals who serve them.

SKI-HI
SKI-Hi focuses on early intervention and early childhood programming for infants and young children, ages birth to five, with hearing and vision impairments and other disabilities.

The National Cued Speech Association
The National Cued Speech Association promotes and supports the effective use of Cued Speech.

Alexander Graham Bell Association
The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell) is a resource, support network and advocate for listening, learning, talking and living independently with hearing loss. 

National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities (NICHCY)
NICHCY is a source of information on disabilities in children, IDEA, No Child Left Behind, and research-based information on effective educational practices.

Learning to Listen Foundation
