CENTER for OUTREACH SERVICES
Interpreting & Sign Language Resources
ISLR was founded in the fall of 1998 in response to the passage of the teacher certification and licensure law in Ohio which required educational interpreters to have credentials and on-going professional development. ISLR was founded as joint venture between the Ohio School for the Deaf and the Office of Exceptional Children at the Ohio Department of Education.
We invite you to explore our web site to learn more about our programs and services. Read our recent newsletters to learn more about recent ISLR developments. You are also welcome to join our mailing list to receive updates about news of interest to Ohio educational interpreters.
