ISLR Interpreter Needs Survey
Like all organizations within state government, the Center for Outreach Services is considering how to most effectively use limited resources. As Interpreting & Sign Language Resources (ISLR) considers how to continue to provide essential services through these changes, we need input from Ohio educational interpreters. We have designed a survey to determine which professional development services are most useful. If you are a public school interpreter in Ohio, please complete the ISLR Interpreter Needs Survey!
Deafness Collection at the State Library of Ohio
The Center for Outreach Services and the State Library of Ohio are collaborating to bring a collection of Deafness and interpreting-related materials to all Ohioans. The Center for Outreach Services has purchased a number of resources of interest to K-12 deaf educators, interpreters and parents in a variety of formats (books, DVDs, CD-Roms, VHS tapes). The State Library of Ohio has catalogued and will maintain circulation of these items for use by individuals across the state. This new Deafness collection contains over 400 items. Learn more...
